We love our tutu school and my daughter’s teacher MJ! She was incredible. I do however wish the classes were a little more focused on dance. We just pulled our daughter from tutu school to focus on gymnastics more time. While we did love tutu school it didn’t feel challenging.
We absolutely love Tutu School Arvada! My four-year-old has had such a fun and positive experience here. From the moment she started, she’s been excited to go to class, learn new dance moves and express herself through music and movement. What I love most is how playful and encouraging the environment is.
The most magical place for any early dancer! My girls attended for just over a year and loved every class! We've tried every teachers class and enjoyed all but miss Reese and miss Olivia have our hearts forever! We have done a lot of their events and semi annual Bravo Bash and all went amazing.
We absolutely love Tutu School! My daughter takes ballet here, and it has been such a wonderful experience. Her teacher, Ms. Annalise, is an absolute gem—kind, patient, and amazing with the kids. My daughter looks forward to ballet every week.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Arvada
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
