What families & students say
“Highly recommend Tutu School Brier Creek to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place for their child to discover the joy of dance!”
“My daughter looks forward to class every week, loves wearing her tutus and ballet slippers, and is always eager to dance and jump around.”
“There is no judgment from other parents if you need to step away because your child is “having a moment” and they have books and toys to help de-escalate if needed.”
“She participated in the first recital (for the win, she didn't cry but stood on stage observing everything) and asks to go to "ballet" frequently.”
“It also doesn’t hurt that they have the cutest ballet apparel to buy at a reasonable price!”
“The teachers and director have also been very responsive and helpful any time we’ve reached out.”
From the reviews
We love tutu school (brier creek)! My daughter (2 years) has been attending weekly since the beginning and it is such a great class! They do a great job of keeping their short attention spans engaged with a mix of activities and props. Bubbles and flowers are our favorites!
My three daughters had all been interested in taking dance classes, but honestly, I was so overwhelmed by the cost and commitment levels expected from other dance studios in the area that we had put it off for several years until a friend told me about the tutu school. We have LOVED our experience here!
We absolutely love tutu school! My daughter asks if we’re going to tutu school every time we leave the house now. The toddler classes are a blast and I feel like my daughter is being exposed to excellent developmental skills while also learning ballet basics. Everyone is kind, patient and welcoming.
Love our twirling sessions at the Tutu school! Ms. Stevie and Ms. Caroline are so welcoming and patient with the toddlers. Love that it is parent involved so I get to stretch and plié too!
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Brier Creek
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
