My daughter is excited to go to ballet every week. The instructor is awesome with the kids. We’ve gone to make up classes with other teachers and all the teachers are great. There is a parking lot where the studio is located which is a plus.

We love Tutu School Daly City! All the teachers are amazing but our favorite is Ms. Stephanie! She’s been our daughter’s main teacher since she started over 1.5 years ago. We love her routines, structure and kind nature. The studio is fairly new and always clean (located upstairs on the Dim Sum King side).
We have had such a wonderful experience at TuTu School West Portal! Enrolling a toddler in ballet can always feel like a bit of a gamble, but this studio makes it so seamless and magical. A huge part of why we love it is Teacher Brianna. She is absolutely incredible with the little ones.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Daly City
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
