Amazing! So sad I couldn't find any place like this closer to us, this is half an hour away from me but no other place like them! <3 Unlike other places that if you miss a day week or month too bad no make ups and still get billed, this place allowed you to make up your missed classes.
We love Tutu School! My daughter started here when they opened and it’s been so fun for her and for me too (she’s 23 months so in the parent/child class). We’ve done other “baby movement” classes but this is by far her favorite - great music, singing familiar songs, fun “props” and games (scarves, bubbles) and ends…
We love Tutu School McKinney! We have tried many classes in the area for that perfect class for our little girl, and we finally found it. My daughter ADORES Ms. Bonnie, and she is always asking if it's ballet day. My girl is very limited in English, but Ms.
Tutu School is a honestly a magical place for little girls to learn about dance! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tutu School! Both of my daughters absolutely adore their ballet classes here. My youngest is in the Tutu Toddlers class, and my older daughter is in the Exploring Ballet class.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Mckinney
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
