From the reviews
We absolutely love coming to tutu class here in Murrieta! It’s truly one of the highlights of our week. My daughter, Lauren, looks forward to it with so much excitement—she talks about it nonstop and always counts down the days until the next class. The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and nurturing.
I love that Ms. Gracie uses her voice confidently and keeps the class structured, making sure all the children are following instructions and staying on track. At one point, I almost left because the previous class felt like it lacked direction, and the teacher was constantly being interrupted by children misbehaving.
We’ve been with Tutu School Murrieta for nearly a year now, and it has been such a magical experience for my daughter! All of the teachers are absolutely wonderful—each one brings kindness, patience, and joy to every class. Miss Natalie holds a special place in our hearts.
We love tutu school! The attentiveness to our children’s formal development as dancers, while also encouraging free style creative dancing is incomparable. The instructors here are clearly passionate about what they do, and are kind and helpful with the kiddos.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Murrieta
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
