From the reviews
When I was little I always felt intimidated by dance schools because of the lights, large studio, and lack of colorful decor or designs! When I first stepped into Tutu School Pleasanton I instantly knew my daughter would feel comfortable, safe, and excited!
We absolutely love Tutu School of Pleasanton! Ms. Michelle is wonderful with the students and creates such a warm, welcoming environment. She is incredibly patient, kind, and engaging with the kids. My daughter looks forward to her ballet class every single week and is always excited to go.
Ms Michelle is so amazing! She’s so patient with my child. My child looks forward to each class every week! We’ve also attended a few makeup classes with Ms Lily, she’s very awesome as well! Thank you Tutu school for adding the magic to my daughter’s childhood!
Ms. Mackenzie and Ms. Janny are very kind and patient teachers with my little one who is strong willed. We started toddler classes when my baby was 2 years old. She is now in the next class up 'Exploring Ballet' At first I was worried about the adjustment to class settings.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Pleasanton
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
