From the reviews
Tutu school is such a great school. We switched my daughter over from another studio and she enjoys tutu school more. I have seen so much improvement because the teachers are very involved and are all amazing. My daughter Sofia loves miss Kolby and is always excited to go to class with her! Thank you tutu school :)
My three year old daughter did ballet here and we loved it. They make it fun but they also learn and get good exercise. The studio looks like out of a storybook. So cute!
The teachers are so patient with my child and all the other children. There is so much kindness and support. I highly recommend anyone who has even a young toddler to try it out. And they do so many things to engage the kids.
My daughter has been in ballet for about a year and a half now, and she absolutely loves her class—especially because of Ms. Bryana. She is such a wonderful teacher, so patient, kind, and truly meets each child where they are. You can tell she really cares about the kids and creates such a fun, encouraging environment.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Redwood City
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
