From the reviews
This is a great place! My daughter attended ballet classes at the Arcadia location last summer and loved them, and we had her 4th birthday party at Tutu School Scottsdale this spring. The studio manager was extremely helpful, professional, and responsive, and she ensured that all the details for the day were perfect.
My daughter is two, they make the class fun for her and easy to understand! And the space is absolutely beautiful. My daughter had such a good time she didn't want to leave! We attended the Scottsdale location.
I don't write reviews often, but this place is DARLING! I give it an A plus experience. I was shocked to see that there weren't a bunch of great reviews, the class my daughter attended was so wonderful. Ms. Ava taught it and it was full of so much sweetness and whimsy.
Nieces just started ballet here, so far they love it and the teachers are awesome really good with the kids. Would highly recommend.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Scottsdale
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
