Tutu school is a fabulous place for ballet. I started my 7 year old in January and she is still loving it every week. The establishment is so very neat and clean. The environment is very helpful to learning as it is quiet. She enjoys teacher Ashley and i am so grateful for all of the patience her teacher possess.
We started my daughter, who is almost 4, a month ago and she has really enjoyed the classes. The teacher is very creative with the different activities, and incorporates lots of fun props (wands, flowers, scarves) while starting to teach some basic skills.
Tutu School Shoreline has been the perfect fit for our little ballerina! My daughter looks forward to her weekly twirling lessons, and loves her teacher Ms. Ashley! Ms. Ashley is extremely patient with toddler dancers and makes every class fun and exciting! The dance studio is so so cute and very clean.

Your first ballet class at Tutu School Shoreline
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
