From the reviews
Tutu school is the absolute best! My daughter looks forward to go every week and has made the sweetest friends in class. Not only is the aesthetic absolutely adorable, we especially love our teachers Ms Molly and Ms Charlie, and Ms Lucy we have had a few times and she is so great too! I highly recommend Tutu School!
We absolutely love Tutu school! My two year old has only been attending for about a month and we enjoy absolutely everything about it. My daughter loves Miss Molly and was immediately comfortable with her! We trialed a few different schools and she did not take to any of the teachers right away like she did with Molly.
My daughter has been going to Tutu school since they opened! I can’t say enough good things about them! When you walk in, the space is beautiful and dreamy! Molly and all of the other teachers are really amazing. Molly is so kind and makes every lesson really fun and really makes each child feel special.
My daughter recently showed an interest in ballet, so we signed up for a free introductory class—and she absolutely loved it! From the moment the class began, I could tell she was fully engaged and having fun. She kept thanking me for bringing her, which meant so much.
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Wilmington
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
