My son Max has been going to UDA preschool and Hip Hop Dance for 3 years. All the teachers and instructors in this school are top notch! They truly care! I can't say enough about them all! This year his Teachers in the 4s class are Ms Kim and Ms Alex.
My daughter goes to preschool at the draper location and she has absolutely loved it! I was nervous because I had never left my daughter with anyone besides family, but she was able to adjust well and loves school so much! Her teacher, Miss Mauri, has been such a great teacher.
My daughter has attended UDA preschool for this last school year. My only regret is that I wish we had enrolled her sooner. She has had such an amazing experience this year. She has learned so much academically and advanced her creative side through art, music and dance. She adores her teachers Ms. Elsje and Ms.
We have really enjoyed our experience this year at UDA. They have the 3-4 year old program down to a science. My daughter has learned so much and has a lot of fun. They use creative movement and positive guidance to teach dance in a very fun way. She has loved learning ballet and hip hop from Miss Chris.
Your first ballet class at Utah Dance Artists-Draper
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
