From the reviews
This is by far the best studio in Charlotte! My daughter has thrived here and finally found her dance family! She is treated with kindness and respect by all the teachers, and the kids are so supportive of each other.
I do not usually write reviews online, and have never written one here on Google before, but We're Dancin' has honestly impressed me and my family so much that I felt compelled to do so. My daughter joined the We're Dancin' family last year after attending a different local dance studio for many years.
I’ve been dancing at this studio since 2015, and it truly feels like a second home. The instructors are not only incredibly talented themselves but also genuinely supportive and passionate about helping every dancer grow… not just as a dancer but as a person.
I really can’t say enough about how much I love We’re Dancin’! This is my 13-year-old daughters’ third year at this studio and she loves it more and more every year. She has grown exponentially each year since she has been here.
Your first ballet class at We're Dancin'
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
