We love Alegria! There is something for everyone here. This dance studio is exactly what I was looking for. The management and dance instructors foster a positive, friendly and welcoming environment for ALL dancers. I have never seen any unhealthy competition amongst the dancers.

My daughter has taken beginners ballet/tap and she loves this studio. This will be her 2nd semester. The teachers are professional and have boundaries but still allow them to have fun. Helping even the shy-est come out of their shell.
I have been taking adult classes at this studio since it first opened in 2015 at its' old location. The classes have ranged from hip hop, baile folclórico, ballet, belly dancing, and country swing. All of them have been taught by competent instructors that have made learning a new dance style enjoyable.
Your first ballet class at Alegria Performing Arts Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
