UPDATED REVIEW! We are now on year 8 dancing at All Stars. My daughter loves it there and wouldn't want to dance anywhere else! (My son danced there for 5 years as well before deciding to "retire" from dancing!) It's such a special place, and truly has the "family" feel.
My daughter has been going to All stars dance studio since she was 18 months. She’s now 4. My daughter has so much love and respect for Kim Starsiak the owner. She adores her. Every day my daughter is practicing dance at home. And has me send Kim the videos so she knows she’s practicing.
My daughter has been dancing with Kim at All Stars since before she could walk, and I honestly can say that truthfully. Kim has helped my daughter walk, run, climb stairs, jump, and dance with her peers! She has given her the confidence in herself that she now knows she can do anything as long as she works hard at it.
All-Stars Dance Center is the Best studio for children. The dedication the teacher and staff have for their students is priceless. My eldest daughter has been dancing in this studio for six and half years. My youngest daughter has been dancing for four and half years.
Your first ballet class at All-Stars Dance Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
