I love going to classes here. My daughter is 2 and I wanted to find some outside activity that gets her exposed to other kids and adults. She started off so shy and only waning to be carried by me and now she is enjoying herself and I don't have to pick her up once! Ms.
I highly recommend Bella Ballerina! It truly brings every little girl’s dream of dancing like a ballerina to life through imaginative play and fun props. The program introduces basic dance techniques that lay the foundation for a bright future in dance. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience.
Can’t be more happy we decided a year ago to bring our little one to Bella Ballerina. We started when she was 18months and at first it felt she was doing nothing we even thought on taking her out after the first month but with patience a year has passed and we do feel a big difference, she follow instructions and try…
We have been at both lake Nona and Winter Park Bella Balerina for over 2 years now and have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this ballet studio! The space is always spotless—no bugs, no strange odors, and everything is kept in great condition.
Your first ballet class at Bella Ballerina Lake Nona
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
