From the reviews
This studio is so wonderful! I am on my 13th year at Body Language, and every year just brings me so much more joy, and so much more of a reason to stay. The staff and students are truly so welcoming and so inspiring, and this studio has planted such an intense dedication and undeniable love to this beautiful art form.
My 10-year-old daughter has been taking Acrobatics at BLS since October 2025, and she absolutely loves it! The instructor is incredibly welcoming, and the lessons are thoughtfully crafted for beginners, making it exciting for the kids to learn new moves safely while having a great time.
Our son really loves taking break dancing class here. The teacher (Mr. Jerome) strikes a perfect balance between encouraging/ inspiring and still holding the kids accountable to learn. My son said he is the best teacher ever. This place is very welcoming.
We love BLS. Have three kids taking classes there right now. One is part of the breaking competition team.
Your first ballet class at Body Language Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
