From the reviews
We had a great experience with D'amour - Ms. Sanjanee is amazing and the classes are fun. The hip hop class was super fun for my daughter who hates ballet and she gained a lot of confidence and poise from doing it. The summer showcase was fun, but not cheap to participate in, so be forewarned.
Excellent selection of classes, multiple locations and very affordable. You can sign up for a whole season or do drop ins. Instructors are wonderful, friendly and passionate about dance. Communication about classes and summaries of what the kids are learning are great.
D'Amour school of Dance 💃😍 It's amazing. Awesome stuff. Fun classes. My daughter enjoys going to 2 different classes. It's very good for her, she's learning and exercising and having fun the same time. Good price so we can afford 2 classes in one week for my daughter. She loves it.
My 4 year old has tried a few different dance studios, she loves to dance but she was really not in to ballet. Because she isn't yet 8, we had a hard time finding a place that would allow her to do hip hop. And she is loving dance again now! This studio is really great!!
Your first ballet class at D'Amour School of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
