From the reviews
Very good dance studio with two levels. Went to a few Argentine tango events a few weekends ago. The studio was clean and spacious. I wasn't a fan of the check-in process which was rather slow so I would recommend coming early to make sure you can start your class on time.
Went on a Tuesday night for extra credit for my Dance class at school the place was surprisingly busy and had many people learning a dance afterwards there was a dance party and everyone was trying out what they learned.
I've been regularly taking dance classes here since December, and I like this place a lot. I've tried several classes and met several instructions, all of them were great. The parties on Thursday and Friday are nice, beginners and advanced dancers mingle well. Update Jan. 2023: I came back after a few skipped years.
Dance Boulavard has an incredible amount of group classes for anyone, ranging from beginners to advanced! The private lessons are definitely worth it to really take your dance knowledge to the next level. Every instructor I’ve had has been so helpful and always willing to help.
Your first ballet class at Dance Boulevard
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
