From the reviews
My favorite studio to rent at in LA 🤩 My dance company has been renting at studios all over LA and the valley for over 12-years and Dance Space has become, by far, our favorite location to host classes and rehearsals. We’ve been renting at Dance Space more than a year and our clients love the location.
Dance Space is truly a shining star! So many studios closed during and after the Pandemic, many teachers simply had nowhere to go. Dance Space is bright, clean, affordable and very comfortable. All of my students love it, as do I.
This studio is really big and beautiful! We rent it for our weekly kids class. It’s got awesome views of Hollywood hills. We love the lights here and the sound is great. Parking is a little tricky but if you rent the space, they have a spot in the back for the instructors.
This studio is not the cheapest in town BUT their remote service is actually impeccable and makes it worthwhile. They make it so easy to roll up and make the space your own. The space is clean, sound is great, location is awesome and communication with the staff is flawless.
Your first ballet class at Dance Space
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
