From the reviews
Have been a fan of this studio for many years. The owner has the highest integrity, compassion and dedication to the students and staff. Listens and cares about each and every one as an individual. Places them where appropriate for them to learn and excel.
My daughter started in this academy almost 8 years ago and since day 1,she loved it, they are very professional and patient with the students. I am so glad that I choose this academy for my daughter and I totally recommend it.
My two daughters started attending this studio as a beginner dancers back in 2020, and now they’re a professional dancers participating in a big events with the other dancers from the same studio! At a very famous places like Angel stadium, Disney Land, Disney World, and more!
I attended Dance Works as a kid, and now my daughter is in her first class. She is taking the Combo Class (ballet/tap/jazz) and she LOVES it. She screams with excitement on our way to dance class, and says that she can't wait to see her teacher and all her friends. The owner is AMAZING and so kind, also.
Your first ballet class at Dance Works
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
