From the reviews
I love dance more than anything and love this group! There's no pressure, no judgment, just fun doing what I love to do. The routines and music are always different styles you'll never get bored.
I am so glad Diva Dance blessed Tallahassee with its presence. As a dancer I didn’t want to do Zumba type classes for cardio, I wanted real choreography and Diva Dance provided. Of course they do have those cardio driven classes as well but I am obsessed with the choreographed dances.
I’m loving these classes. The instructors are great at teaching and breaking down the dances. It’s always such a fun atmosphere, very positive and upbeat. While I definitely sweat and get my heart rate up, it never feels like a workout. I can’t recommend this enough for ladies or gents who want to get their groove on.
I came across an ad for Diva Dance when I was looking for motivation to get back into exercising consistently. I was looking for an environment where I felt safe and comfortable which is exactly what I found at Diva Dance! The classes are beginner friendly and fun.
Your first ballet class at DivaDance® Tallahassee
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
