Esteem dance is my second home! I love it so much! Every day I look forward to coming to dance. They pay quality attention to everyone at the studio. I've improved so much since I started dancing here 2 years ago. The teachers are so nice, helpful, and go out of their way to make personal connections with everyone.
I have been dancing with Esteem for about my whole life so far, well starting at 3. I haven't just learned how to be a dancer I have learned life skills and my attitude has changed about life. These amazing teachers also let us have fun and focus and have a fight in us the push to get what we want in a gratitude way.
My daughter has been have been going to Esteem sense she was 3 years old and she is now 10! She has learned and grown so much and she/we love it there! It’s truly her dance family, and her life now and loves learning/growing more each time.
My daughter loved this studio so much!!! When she wanted to do gymnastics she felt a piece of her missing, so she went back to esteem dance and felt way happier. The teachers are very kind and they help kids learn, they are also funny!
Your first ballet class at Esteem Dance Draper
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
