From the reviews
Fresh Attitude is the best dance studio if you want to learn about dance from talented instructors as well as learn to love the art and spend time with amazing people. I started dance there when I was 4 and danced there for 6 years and every year I learned more and gained more experience.
This is an AWESOME dance studio with a variety of classes at a variety of levels. They even have adult classes (which are a blast). Definitely worth checking them out! I believe the starting age for joining is 4 years old.
I LOVE this studio. I have gotten the chance to dance there for 3 years, twice lyrical (to which I ASPIRE! to be as good as the top class. They leave me breathless) and once hip hop which was the most fun I've had! I love the positive encouragement that the teachers give to their students.
I took lessons at this studio for over 10 years and have nothing but good things to say about it! The classes are encouraging, fun and taught me to love expression through dance. Through the studio I also made many close friendships and it helped me to overcome insecurities throughout my teen years.
Your first ballet class at Fresh Attitude Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
