My daughter is a dancer at Inspire Dance Complex and is also part of the competitive team. She has truly flourished in the 3 years she has trained at this studio. They have a warm and wonderful staff very knowledgeable and supportive and all the dancers are incredibly inspiring and hardworking.
We are so glad that we found a great studio for our daughter. The staff is great, the classes are enjoyable, and overall it is a wonderful experience for all of us. This a classy place with quality instructors.
My daughter loves and always looks forward to her class. She's taken fairy tale ballet and tap/jazz with Mr. Ben, who is an awesome and fun teacher, and really great with the little ones!
LOVE, Love, Love this studio!!! IDC goes beyond the expectation in developing the needs of both recreational & competition dancers. My two girls have danced here recreationally for 4 years before signing on as competition dancers.
Your first ballet class at Inspire Dance Complex - McKinley Location
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
