The programs they offer
“I was apprehensive when I enrolled my daughter as a toddler because you always see the strict classes in media (lol) but Karen's is NOT that.”
What families & students say
“Fantastic studio with a wonderful dance education and a fun family-friendly environment!”
From the reviews
Karen’s Dance Studio is more than just a place to dance, it’s family! My girls have been dancing there for six years and we have loved being a part of such a wonderful studio. The teachers all show such love and compassion for their students as well as demonstrate a passion for the art of dance.
I went to Karen's Dance Studio in third and fourth grade, and my sister went for eleventh and 12th, and we both LOVED it! My sister had to leave because she graduated, and I left because of my family's schedule change, but I have only good memories there and, though I also love the studio I'm in now, consider Karen's…
I started going here because my friend Emalyn inspired me into dance! The teachers there are amazingly fun, and the classes go up into point! I really recommend this studio for across, ballet, jazz, any class that they have! Its amazing. I still go there today
Incredible dance studio. Wonderful instructors as well as great management and atmosphere. Everything is very efficient for parents and fun for kids. Definitely recommend for any parents looking for an activity for their kids.
Your first ballet class at Karen's Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
