From the reviews
Our family has been dancing with Kay's for 6 years now. Between my two daughters and all their classes we have tried so many styles and have had opportunities to work with all the instructors. The staff are AMAZING.
My daughters are so excited to join Kay's dance movement. While doing some research on dance studios in tulsa I came across KDM. Of course you do the usual thing by leaving your email or phone number and you wait for someone to get back to you with more information.
We enrolled our 8-year old daughter in Kay's Dance Movement classes earlier this month. So far she is absolutely loving the hip-hop dance class and the Acro class. Her teacher Chloe is amazing. When she gets done with the classes you can tell she worked hard and had so much fun!
The building is not what I expected . Its quite small inside . But I think each student gets the attention they need to be their best with it being a small dance studio versus being a huge building with tones of classrooms and hallways . It’s reasonably priced as well .
Your first ballet class at Kay's Dance Movement
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
