Redefined Studios and FRDT has changed the trajectory of how my daughter views herself and what she wants to do with her life. We drive an hour each way twice a week so she gets to experience the love that the coaches show all of the FRDT dancers and the sisterhood that FRDT brings.
I had a bachelorette party for 30 people lead by Markesha and it was absolutely amazing! We had a few hiccups but she was very patient and accommodating! The dance was fun and very beginner friendly! We had such a fun time I can’t wait to have another event!
Really nice dance studio. The space was converted for a socially distanced comedy show. Comedienne was vulgar, crazy, and hilarious. Love seeing confident plus sized women. Fun night!

First, which class to start in — look for one labeled "absolute beginner" or "adult beginner" rather than an open or "all levels" class, so you learn the fundamentals at the right pace. Second, drop-in or term — many adult programs let you pay per class to try it, then move to a term or monthly package once you're hooked. Third, what to wear — comfortable clothes you can move in, plus socks or bare feet, are plenty for a first class; you won't need a leotard or ballet shoes to walk in the door.
