From the reviews
We have been at Shooting Stars for the last 5 years. My daughter started in the weekly classes and then joined the competitive team 3 years ago. I now have my younger daughter in the weekly classes as well. I really can’t say enough good things about SSD.
If you want to be a professional dancer, go to this studio and you will not be disappointed. If you are coming here just for fun, and to learn the basics of dance, I recommend looking at a different dance studio. You will be overwhelmed by the immense amount of talent and skill it takes to do what these dancers do.
My nine-year-old daughter is entering her third season with Shooting Stars Elite dance company and it has truly been a joy to watch her develop and blossom as a dancer and performer each passing year.
We’ve really enjoyed our experience at Shooting Stars. The teachers are not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also incredibly patient and compassionate. They truly care about their students and create a positive supportive environment. Highly recommend!
Your first ballet class at Shooting Stars Dance School Clermont
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
