FFDA is the best studio you could ever go to. I have known the owner of the studio (Miss Paige) for over 9 years and all I can say is that she is more than qualified to be your dance teacher. Her mom is like a second mother to me. Words cannot explain how kind and just amazing Miss Paige and her family are.
Coming from somebody who dances there. It is the best studio I’ve danced at period. Ms.Paige has taught me to be confident and to push myself. She cares, and loves every single one of her students and that is just a fact.
Finally, a dance studio that allows all its dancers to shine and not just try ones that are the “favorites”. I love the family atmosphere that is created here. My daughter says she loves it here because everyone is so nice to her - even though she was brand new this year!
Your first ballet class at Full Force Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
