From the reviews
My daughter has been attending dance classes here for the last year. My daughter takes clasess at their Poway and RB studio. The teachers are great amazing. Although she had some prior dance experience, she has learned so much more. If you are looking for a dance studio for your child or older teen this is the place.
My daughter started dancing at Step by Step dance in RB this year, I can’t say enough good things about this dance studio! First of all they stand for freedom of choice. We drive all the way from Bonsall because they truly care about each dancer and are so welcoming.
Step by Step is an incredible dance studio. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her classes and the instructors she has had the pleasure of working with. Her skills have improved, she’s gained confidence and friendships and an overall sense of achievement.

Your first ballet class at Step By Step Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
