From the reviews
My daughter has been attending TuTu School for a month and she loves it. A great instructor and spacious area for her and the other girls to enjoy some dedicated time. With many items available for sale, you are sure to find something your little one will enjoy.
If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! If you’re looking for a ballet class, or just an amazing activity for your girls, you’ve found it! After just one or 2 weeks in this class, my oldest daughter was more outgoing, less shy, wanted to make friends and started interacting with other kids around her on her own.
Our daughter had her first class today and it was magical! The studio is so cute and well decorated! We wanted to buy all of the tutus! Kristen is so warm and welcoming. She kept all of the kids engaged the entire 45 minutes with different exercises and props.
My daughter is two and has been coming to Tutu school at Rancho Bernardo and it is THE cutest and best thing ever!! The owner and teachers at Rancho Bernardo are super sweet and great!! I tried two different teachers with my daughter and they are both so so great with kids!!
Your first ballet class at Tutu School Rancho Bernardo
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
