The programs they offer
“My daughter learned so much in that year and still had so much fun!”
From the reviews
They have several great programs here, with several different styles. Update: they now are also a yoga studio, and offer yoga classes several times during the week and on weekends.
We absolutely loved Studio 10! I’m so bummed we had to move! We would have stayed there forever! Miss Emily was so great with our 6 year old and all other dancers! She was so patient, knowledgeable and loving. My daughter learned so much in that year and still had so much fun!
My daughter has taken classes here for years and loves it! Ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, tumbling - you name it, they have great instructors for all of the classes. Even on-line after COVID-19 the staff is engaged and keeping it fun during a truly challenging time-it's been great for staying connected.
Terrific dance studio, welcomed my beginner teenager and fed the passion for dance.
Your first ballet class at Studio 10 Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
