From the reviews
I am a mom of 4 daughters. The oldest one is 16. All of my 4 daughters have been with the Dance Studio since they were 4 or 5. They all enjoy the classes, teachers and classmates in this wonderful studio. The teachers are all very friendly and skillful. The director, Ms. Debbie is especially thoughtful and considerate.
I have been taking lessons at The Dance Studio for 8 years now and have had a great experience here. When I first started taking lessons, Mrs. Debbie was very welcoming and has continued to make sure I've felt comfortable ever since. This studio is where my love for dance began, and when I was entering high school Mrs.
I really enjoyed my experience here. The teachers are great, and they give constructive feedback. I also do color guard and we have to be able to dance, so I came here to improve myself. I have not danced since I was in second grade, but the teachers were encouraging, so I caught on quickly.
If I could, I would give this place 10 stars! If you are looking for a great place for your kids, then, this is the place you should look up. The teachers are really happy, friendly, have fun exercises that are age appropriate and all of the kids had a blast.
Your first ballet class at The Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
